Dallas Brusso 87 of Ontonagon passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at his home in Ontonagon.
He was born on December 21, 1928 in Detroit, MI to the lat Dominic "Tom" & Lucille (Krug) Brusso. Dallas graduated from Calumet High School. After graduation he went into the U.S. Army and spent time in Germany. On March 28, 1953 he married Violet Kanniainen and had one daughter Dianne Lynn.
Sonny loved to fish for Brooke Trout in the Copper Country when he was young and in the porcupine Mountains later in life. He loved to work on the farm and be his own boss. He also worked in the woods.
Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Dianne Beck, brother Gary, sister Loretta Finley and nephews Jay & Jeff Brusso.
He is survived by his wife Vi, granddaughter Alana Beck of Los Angles, CA, brother Donald (Norma) Brusso of Laurium, MI and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 18th at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon, MI at 2 p.m. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
