She will be dearly missed; and I have so many great memories of our times together particularly those years in the Queen Sorority. She was so happy to be back home in Ontonagon.

Marcia and Mike:
So sorry to hear about your mom, she was a great lady with a smile for everyone. She always made the day brighter with her smile and terrific sense of humor. Our prayers are with you. Wish we could be there! We are remembering her with the Cancer Society.

Mike and Marcia,
I remember the kindness you showed me and excitement I had when you two invited me to go for a golf cart ride when your parents weren't home. You pulled the barn doors open and away we went! And I was lucky enough to get a ride. I remember pulling into the barn and one of you diligently sweeping the floor to get rid of the tracks, then closing the doors like nothing happened. Helen Chenoweth locked me in that same barn the next day. She was mean and now I love her for it. Just a memory. Your mom probably caught on after awhile. -Teddy Smith

Donna was a wonderful, gracious lady. Over the years we were able to spend time with her and especially enjoyed her sense of humor out on the golf course. Our deepest condolences.

What a wonderful lady. She was always so happy and friendly. She stopped by my office in Florida a couple of times just to say hello. I always enjoyed her visit. God bless her and her family.

My last conversation with Donna was at Ontonagon Township Park. Mom, Helen Leslie Fyvie, was camping there with me when Mom lived with me, and Jon, in Rhinelander. I was walking to the beach with Mom. She was walking with 2 canes at that time. Donna and I had a lifetime of conversations in that short period of time, when we suddenly realized Mom was not there with me anymore. She became impatient with me talking, so she had walked the rest of the way to the sand, then we saw the trail where Mom had scooted on her butt, trailing the two canes on each side!! Quite a trail to behold! Donna and I laughed some great belly-laughs! Mom was around 99 or 100 then!
