James Humphrey Obituary

James A. Humphrey, a Bruce Crossing resident, died March 23rd, 2018 in his home.

Born April 18th, 1940 in Ironwood, he was the son of the late John (Jack) and Doris (Sandell) Humphrey.

He is survived by his wife, Carlene (Jarvi), daughters, Jamie Ahlskog (Carl) of Ewen, Amber Niemi of Portland, and sons, Thomas (Beth) of Marquette, Jon (Leslie) of Courtice, Ontario, and Drew Niemi (Priscilla) of Phoenix. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Lauren, Colin, Rachel, and Sean and his first wife, Nina (Haarala) Humphrey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John C. Humphrey.

As well as being affiliated with the State Bank of Ewen for over 50 years, he was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers.

According to his wishes, a private service will be held in the spring.

The Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel is assisting the family.
