Kevin Mark Kuitunen 57 of Ontonagon went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin.
He was born in Highland Park, Michigan on October 23, 1959 to Waino Albert and Fay Anna (Bammbert) Kuitunen. Kevin had been a resident of Ontonagon for the past 11 years.
He was employed at the local car wash and was known as a hard worker. Kevin loved to watch hockey and was an excellent player in his younger years. His favorite team was the Detroit Red Wings.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father and a brother Daniel.
He is survived by his mother Faye, brother David (Pam) of St. Claire Shores, Michigan, Sister Sandra (Michael) Renaud of Ontario Canada, Sister Lisa Harju of Laurium, MI and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Cane Funeral Home beginning at 11 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the start of the service.
The family wishes to thank the staff at New Beginnings Adult Foster Care and Copper County Mental Health for the great care they provided Kevin during his time here.
