Leslie A Kemppainen

Leslie Anne Kemppainen, 29, parted from this life and entered her eternity on November 22, 2017.

She was born on June 3,1988 to Dennis Ray and Lianne Lynette (Reid) Kemppainen at St. Ignace Hospital, MI.  Although technically she was born in the car as, true to form.  Leslie was eager to start her life on her terms.  She also made front page news as the only child born at the St. Ignace Hospital in 16 years.

Leslie started school in Ontonagon, went to middle school in Rudyard, MI and then home schooled while in Watertown, WI.  From a young age she had a flair for fashion , all types of design and modeling,  Leslie had a beautiful singing voice, loved to dance and perform and had a out going generous spirit with a fun loving personality.  The loves of her life were her three gorgeous children who she would want to explore life with zest and joy in her honor.

Surviving are her children, Noelle Nevaeh, Kade Zachary and Journey Lee Ray, her mother Lianne Kemppainen, siblings, Dennis Jr, Daniel,( Darren (Amanda), and Kaylee (Andy McMillan) Kemppainen, Grandfather Robert Reid, Grandmother, Marie Broemer, 16 Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Preceding her in death are her father Dennis Kemppainen Sr, Grandmother Karen Reid, Grandfather Frank Broemer and Niece Kiley Kemppainen.

Memorial services for Leslie will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Siloa Lutheran Church, Ontonagon, MI at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeannie Manning officiating.

The Cane Funeral Home of Ontonagon is assisting the family with arrangements.
