Pamela Jean Pete McGeshick, 53 of Watersmeet, MI, passed away Thursday October 27, 2016 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital with her daughters by her side. Pamela was born in Phelps, WI to Charles and Gertrude (Williams) McGeshick Jr. on July 31, 1963. She was raised in Watersmeet, MI until she moved to Kicking Horse, Montana where she met her first husband Alfred Friday, where they had three children together. She then moved to Mole Lake, WI and met Calvin Poler and they had four children. In 2008 she married Franklin Pete.
Pamela enjoyed her Packers, her Free Play at the casino, especially taking care of others when they were in need of her help, she is best known for her “rice and raisin pudding”
Pamela is survived by her husband Franklin Pete, four daughters; Sylvia and Mariah Friday of Wyoming, Larissa Poler of Watersmeet, MI and Cecilia Poler of Crandon, WI. three sons; Samuel Friday of Wyoming, Calvin Poler III and Vincent McGeshick. nine brothers and Three sisters, her mother Gertrude (Williams) McGeshick.
Pamela is preceded in death by her daughter Anastasia and her father Charles
Community visitation and drumming will begin Sunday, October 30, 2016, 5:00 pm (CST) at the Lac Vieux Desert Spiritual Center, Watersmeet, MI until time of Funeral Services, Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:00 am (CST) with James Williams Sr. Officiating. The family has requested any floral arrangements made on behalf of Pamela and her family may call the “Forever Flowers” shop in Ontonagon, MI at 906-884-3000
Funeral Services are under the direction of the Cane Funeral Home of Bruce Crossing, Michigan.
