Richard "Rick" Kenneth Wilber

Richard "Rick" Kenneth Wilber, 65, of Rockland, MI was called up to the bleachers June 10th, 2016.  Rick was born on May 22, 1951 in Ontonagon, MI to the late June (Fredrickson) and Charles WIlber Sr.  Rick married the love of his life Joanne 'Joan' Pantti.  They were married 40 years.

Rick was a loving husband. father and papa. Rick was and avid sportsman, enjoyed spending time at Camp Bear Claw, road trips with his wife Joan to many, many, places. He loved spending special quality time with his beautiful grandchildren and family.  He loved the Detroit Tigers and was a loyal fan of the Detroit Lions.

Rick was proceeded in death by his parents, June and Charles Wilber Sr., sister Susan 'Susie' Wilber, in-laws Lorraine and George Pantti, sister in-law Kelly Pantti, brother in-laws Tom O'Connell, Larry Pantti and loyal companion Buster dog.

Rick is survived by his wife Joan, daughter  Chasity (Troy) Koepp, Sons Nathan (Kristen) Wilber, Mitchell Wilber and fiance Cassandra Kanniainen. Sister; Sandy (Jim) Jackson, Gail (Roy) Miilu. Brothers Charlie Wilber Jr., Jeff (Michele) Wilber and Greg (Julie) Wilber. Sister in-laws Laurie O'Connell and Barb Urbis. Brother in-law Jim (Arlette) Pantti.  Grandchildren Hali, Colsen, Taryn and Lily. Grand dogs, Ace, Jessy, Rudy, Peanut and Shorty. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rockland on Tuesday June 14th at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow. Pastor Kendra Wilber will be officiating.
