I took over Sam's old job at CAT when he moved up the rungs. I cannot say how much he helped and mentored me there.. He also gave me great advice on restoring my cars and motorcycles... His great attention to detail never ceased to amaze me... I will truly miss him, but will always remember him as I restore my cycles and remember that attention to detail.. RIP Sam my friend... Prayers to your family....

Cindy and I were stunned when we learned of Sam's passing and we send you and your family our condolences. I have told several of his Caterpillar friends what I had read on "Facebook" and they have been searching for additional information.
We will plan on attending the Chillicothe services.

Pat, I am so sorry to see that Sam is no longer with us. Although, I did not know him well....met him a few times with you... he was fun and interesting to talk to. This will be a hard time for you, but you have made a lot of friends who will be with you and Sam's family. My thoughts are with you, Pat.
