Elmer was one of most favorite people I have known pretty much my whole life. One of those guys you just never forget and always look forward to seeing. He always made me laugh and always gave good hugs. I will miss him. Sending my prayers and condolences to his family. What a life!

May God bless you during this time of loss. Its been many years since I had seen Elmer, but he (and the rest of the family) was always kind and friendly to me growing up. I have nothing but fond memories of his stories and his chuckle and smile (when he'd tell them).

We wish Elsie could travel and we could all be there to say our final goodbyes to Uncle Elmer. Our Firesteel Finn was such a legend in our family and will be greatly missed...but will be forever in our hearts! No one had more Sisu than Elmer Andrew Komula!
Sending comforting and strengthening prayers to Aunt Shirley, Gary and Linda and their family, and to Sheri and Dennis and their families as well. We love you all so much!

Gary and family,
Our condolences to all of you on the loss of your father. It is never easy losing a parent as Jerry and I both know. Jerry said he will remember him as a tough old Finlander, who was very resourceful, and one of a kind!
