Kenneth George Kielcheski, 74, of Merriweather, MI passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital.
He was born in Park Falls, WI on May 2, 1943 to George and Irene (Brown) Kielcheski. He married Susan A. Barrette in Merriweather at his home. He was a graduate of Bergland High School and attended Michigan State University, he entered the Michigan State Police and reitired as Sgt. after 40 years of service. He also worked as a logger and owned and operated KK Logging Company. He was an avid sportsmen, he enjoyed being surrounded by his friends, softball brought the best out in Ken, he truly loved the comradery . Pool was another skill which he honed to a science with league competition. Indeed he had a need for speed, many sports cars and Harleys, “Let the good times roll” Cheers to all his friends from who he cherished, KK was a lover of all animals.
Ken is survived by his wife Susan. At the request of Ken’s family, services will be private. Donations would be appreciated to H.O.P.E. Animal Shelter on Easy Street, Ironwood, MI Special thanks to Aspirus Hospital for their wonderful care they gave to Ken and his family.
