Roberta (Pittsley) Vizina

It is with sadness in our hearts we say goodbye to Bobbie but we rejoice she has joined Jesus in heaven.  She was a happy homemaker and a friend to all.  She loved her family and friends with no boundaries.  Her warm heart and giving spirit were known by everyone.  She was always so generous with her time and tried to help whenever she could.  She would do anything for anyone, even if it meant she went without.  Her favorite time was Christmas.  She would shop throughout the year, making crocheted gifts, baked items, crafts and anxiously wait to give to her family and friends.

Her hobbies were fishing with her grandchildren and best friend Jack Osbourne, baking, reading, crafts and crocheting.  She loved to go to church, on picnics, camping and enjoyed her family reunion every year.  She would always take time to talk on the phone to stay in touch with those whom she held most dear to her.  She was married once to James Francis Vizina and had four lovely children. 

She is survived by her four children: Robin (Eric) Harsvick, Tracie (Dale) Shalifoe, Danielle (Jim) Pfeifer and James (Diana) Vizina. 22 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.   7 Brothers and Sisters: Dennis Pittsley, Oralee Westie, Bruce (Sharon) Pittsley, Donna (John) Mercier, Rhonda McClure, Norman (Sheri) Pittsley and Phyllis (Steve) Wallenius, also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Elaine (Brownell) Pittsley, her sister Tina Benavides, her child Wendy Sue Vizina and her great grandchild Halla Grace Harsvick.

Visitation will take place on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Cane Funeral Home, Ontonagon from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Scott Sacrey will officiate. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland.  

The Cane Funeral Home of Ontonagon is assisting the family with arrangements.
