Ronald James Vincent, 57 of Ontonagon passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 10, 2019.
He was born on February 26, 1962 in Green Bay, WI to Clifford and Doris Vincent.
Ron served in the United States Marine Corp from 1979 to 1982. On February 14, 2007 Ron was united in marriage to Lynn Jamison. On this day he also became Grandpa Ron to Lynn's grandchildren, a title he was proud to wear. He loved them and was so proud.
Ron and Lynn delivered the Daily Mining Gazette for several years. He met many people along the way and was always focused on making the customers happy. Ron loved cars, reading, listening to music, watching movies, going to the beach, the Green Bay Packers and most of all he loved his pets.
Ron is survived by his wife Lynn, stepchildren Heather (Toby) Nyman, Natasha (Joe) Picotte and Jeremy Weisinger. His grandchildren Jacob, Connor, Joshua, Chayse, Mystere and Sandra. Father and mother-in-law Leroy and Cathy Jamison, sister-in-laws Lori (Scot) Milbourn and Lisa (Jim) Linna. Stepmother Kay Vincent and siblings, Richard (Roxanne), Steve, Dan (Julie), John, Vicky, Bill Rob, Brad, Barb (Steve) Jarstad, Lisa (Dave) Wathan, Angie (Scott) Suntken, Chris and Nicole, Aunt Della and foster parents Earl and Evelyn Schoen. Special nephew Justin Vincent, and best friend Tim Maher and his boys, Austin and Ian. Lastly, his fur babies, Cooper, Tanner, Bear, Aspen, Gypsy, River and Rosa.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Doris, his daughter Megan, stepson Jordan and nephew Nathanial.
A service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, with visitation at 12pm and a service at 1pm at Cane Funeral Home, 310 N. Steel St., in Ontonagon.
