To the Ruth MacFarlane Family ~
We were saddened to hear the news of Ruth's passing. Our hearts reach out to you during this sorrowful time. We wish we could say something to comfort you during this sad time. Love is a memory that never fades.
We have wonderful memories of Scrabble games and good conversations, often involving bits of Ruth's humor and wisdom. May memories be your comfort.

This verse is one that was given to me long ago and I have passed it on. For me, it helps soften the pain of losing those I love ~ or rather, losing their daily physical presence.

"Many tears are shed, because we have loved one who was special. Now, memories must sustain us. Let them guide you and keep you today and always. For as we remember, we see love's reflection in our tears."
~ Emily Dickinson

May these few words in some way help to express our heart-felt sympathy. Your mother and grandmother--our friend--will be greatly missed ~ we feel blessed to have known her!
❤ Sending our Love & Prayers,
The Lukkarila Family
~ Pam, Dave and Finn

It is difficult to believe that I have received my last letter from you. I still have an unfinished one to send to you. You will be dearly missed by this grand-daughter.
