Suzanne Carol Manning

Born December 6, 1936 in Hartford, Wisconsin. Sue began her adult life after graduating from Hartford High School in 1954. Sue married Raymond Hein and had two boys. She is survived by both her sons, Ronald Hein, his wife Carol of Hartland, Wisconsin and Roger Hein, his wife Makayla of San Antonio, Texas.

Sue was an avid crafter and enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting, knitting and sewing. Sue re-married in 2008 to Ralph Manning of Mass City, Michigan.

Sue has 5 grandchildren, (from oldest to youngest) Lindsey, Andy, Gregory, David and Sara.

Sue attended Redeemer Free Lutheran Church before she had to be placed in an assisted living center in Baraga then L’Anse.

Before Sue was called home on September 14, 2019 at the age of 82 one of her last wishes was to tell folks and family that God, through Jesus Christ is their best friend. She thanks God for his love and support. She wants us all to live our lives fully in His care.

The service will take place on Saturday, September 21st at the Redeemer Free Lutheran Church, 315 Steel St. in Ontonagon. Visitation will be from 12 to 1pm, with the service starting at 1pm.

Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
