Throughout Adam's young life he found enjoyment in many things, from enrolling in the White Pine karate dojo (Sensei' George McGrath and Sensei Joseph Neis) and earning a brown belt in his young 6 years of study to graduating high school the with his peers of the class of Ewen Trout Creek of 2001. Enjoying the adventure of life was his belief. After graduating in 2001 he immediately enlisted in the United States Navy. Adam's (mos) was that of EO (Equipment Operator) Navy Seabees, acquiring the rank of seaman E-3 Serving 2 years active and 4 inactive, he received the National Defense medal and the Sea Service Deployment ribbon , rifle marksmanship ribbon and his honorable discharge.
After being discharged and transitioning to civilian life he stayed in California and worked as a short order cook and assistant manager. He later set his sights on Arizona to use his GI bill to become a motorcycle technician, it was 18 months of study at The Mortorcycle Mechanic Institute (MMI) and determination along with keeping a full time job to his credit. Graduating and trying a new occupation was another challenge. It was in 2006 he made his way home back to the UP of Michigan. While here he worked different jobs from cleaning dishes in the kitchen , some mechanic work to convenience attendant , gardening and then deciding to go back to school as a DNR officer at GCC and changed gears. He then decided to
earn his CDL and endorsements to work in the the oil fields of North Dakota, that he did for about 2 1/2 to 3 years.
If there is one thing I can say about Adam , he always tried and looked forward to the next adventure, He left us too early but gave us his laughter and smile never thinking he was anything but himself ! He is so missed by his Dad and Mom and family including the many others that he touched, in ending with his expression. He would say
"Peace Out"
