Aiko H. Besson 78 of Rockland passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 25, 2009 at her home.

She was born May 31, 1931 in Nagasaki, Japan to Sentaro and Kei Hayashi. After her parent's death, Aiko was raised by her adopted parents Mataichi and Chiyo Hayashi. On February 18, 1959 she was united in marriage to Glen Besson in Fukoku, Japan. Aiko loved her cats and was a loving and caring wife to Glen.

She is survived by her husband Glen Besson of Rockland and her twin sister Horoko of Japan.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, June 30th at 1 p.m. at Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon with Pastor Paul Sewell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the Riverside cemetery in Ontonagon.
