IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alberta C.
Mannan
June 29, 1960 – February 22, 2025
Alberta was born to Cecil and Clara (Orfnosky) Mannan, in Ontonagon, Michigan on June 29, 1960. She attended the Ontonagon Intermediate School District program, which she completed in 1986.
In May of 1986, after the loss of her father and mother, Alberta became part of the Jacques and Hilde Kirouac family in Ontonagon.
Eventually after their passing, she became a member of the Fred and Linda Martin family and was fast friends with their daughter Jessica.
In 2014, the family moved from Three Rivers, Michigan back to Ontonagon, and all were very happy to move back "home!"
However, in 2015 Alberta had a series of medical issues which caused her to be placed in the Aspirus Longterm Care Unit. She resided there until the facility closed and was then moved to Bayside Village in L'Anse, Michigan.
Alberta is remembered for her love of school and playing school. She always would greet anyone with, "Hello, my name is Alberta", and from then on out you were her friend. Her big smile and big heart for all, along with her great sense of humor and playful heart, not only endeared her to all in her family, but to all who knew her as well.
We celebrate her life and the impact she had on all who knew her. All remember her by her reply of "Excellent" whenever she was asked how she was!
She will be sadly missed by all.
