Allen W. Larson, age 69, passed away at his home, Wednesday September 28, 2016. Allen was born on March 3, 1947 to Wilbert R. Larson and Ida M. Anderson. He graduated from Ewen High School, class of 1966 and attended Northern Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Teaching.

Allen was a member of the 1st Apostolic Lutheran Church of Paynesville, MI. He worked for the Ontonagon Valley Coop Creamery until there closure and then the Settlers Coop, Inc. for the past 12 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, astronomy, reading and going to Char's Café.

Allen is survived by his brother; Marvin (Karen) Larson of Bruce Crossing, 3 nephews; David (Jodi) Larson of Mattawan, MI, Karl (Georgeann) Larson of Hancock, MI and Alexander Larson of Bruce Crossing. 2 grandnieces; Marin and Aria Larson of Mattawan, MI

Visitation for Allen will be Friday, October 7, 2016 at the 1st Apostolic Lutheran Church, in Paynesville, MI from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am. Pastor David Taivalkoski will officiate.

The Cane Funeral Home of Bruce Crossing is assisting the family.
