Ann "Annie" Marincel Pestka passed away Friday, July 1, 2016.

Ann was born in Ashland, Wisconsin, to Joe and Mary Marincel on October 2, 1947.  Ann graduated from Ontonagon High School with the class of 1965.  After graduation, she moved to Milwaukee.  She eventually made her way back home to Ontonagon and for several years she managed the Lake Superior Credit Union.  She also worked alongside her husband, Norman Pestka, and helped run Pestka Construction and all the while, she ruled the roost.  From cheering on the Packers, to singing and dancing, or simply spending the day with you until your stomach hurt from laughter, she loved to enjoy life with her family and many friends.

Ann will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.  The people who will miss her the most, however, are her loving husband and dance partner of 30 years, Norman; her much loved children Lori (Glen) Willis and Chris "Buster" (Kim) Heikkila; stepsons Patrick and Dan; and her  grandchildren, the loves of her life, Madelyn and Nathan Heikkila, and Addison Willis; and her dog, Calle.

A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, July 7, at 4:00, at Cane Funeral Home with her nephew, Deacon Ken Preiss, officiating. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.

Everyone who knew Ann knows that she would want you to celebrate her life and raise a glass of your favorite drink and toast her memory.
