Obituary

Anna Lucille Anderson 88 died Sunday morning September 23, 2007 at the Maple Manor Nursing Center in Ontonagon.

Lucille was born December 18th 1918 in Mass City to William and Mary M. "Emily" (Penegor) Anderson. She attended the Mass City Schools, graduating as valedictorian of the class of 1937.

Lucille started her working career in Ontonagon joining the Hamar-Quandt Lumber Co. for several years. She then moved to Milwaukee where she was employed by the Allen Bradley Co. in its accounting department. She retired in 1987 and moved to Ontonagon. There she joined her brother and sister at the family home.

Lucille was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the St. Teresa Parish Circle and served as a Eucharistic Minister as she also had at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Milwaukee.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her sister Armella O. Anderson and Marie L. Anderson and brothers Harold J. (Bud) Anderson and Thomas W. (Bill) Anderson.

Surviving are her sisters Bernice A. Anderson of Ontonagon, Mary E. Easterly of Biloxi, MS and Cecelia A. Rossetti of Naples, FL, brother Bernard M. Anderson of Ontonagon and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous cousins.

A funeral mass will be offered by Father Anthony Lukose at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday September 29th at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
