Audrey Gloria Esther Hayes of Ontonagon, MI, passed away on November 7, 2020 at Aspirus Long Term Care.

Audrey was born in Ewen, MI to John and Esther (Ark) Kukkola on April 8, 1935. She worked in the Detroit area auto industry for many years, moved to Rock, MI  where she worked in the kitchen for the local school, then returning to Ontonagon for her later years.

Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Ginny (Joe) Rimolde of Duluth, MN. Her grandchildren Rian (Kevin) Langdon of Duluth, Zachary (Michelle) Psick of Sacramento, CA, Jamie Lippens, Chuck Branstrom, both of Gladstone, MI, Travis Maki of Escanaba, MI, Justin Marks, Farmington Hills, MI, Alora Marks and Johna Marks of Ontonagon, MI; Eleven great grandchildren and 4 1/2 great, great grandchildren; her beloved caregiver Ingrid White, plus many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, daughters Viki Branstrom of Perkins, MI and Wendi Hayes of Ontonagon, MI. Her grandson Ukiah Psick of Saginaw, MN and grand daughters Erin Maki of Perkins, MI and Becky Psick of Biwabik, MN. Her brothers Charles Kukkola and Alan Kukkola; plus special friend Donald Maki of Tapiola, MI.

A graveside service will be held on May 8, Saturday at 2pm at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland, MI.
