Austyn Oshen Johnson of Bruce Crossing, MI passed away on October 31, 2024 in Minneapolis, MN at Fairview Children's Hospital.

He was born in Ironwood, MI to Erik and Tara Johnson on June 20, 2006. Austyn went to school at ETC in Ewen. He loved being in school.

Austyn loved to travel, go riding in the side by side, swimming in our pool, going to movies and watching football.

In 2021, Austyn was given a Make-A-Wish vacation to LEGOLAND in Schaumberg, IL. His biggest hobby was assembling LEGO'S.

Austyn always wanted to know what everyone was doing for the day. He always showed us the weather at home and the Florida Keys (his favorite vacation place). Austyn was a happy boy that always had a smile on his face and laughter that would light up a room.

Austyn is survived by his Mom and Dad, Erik and Tara Johnson of Bruce Crossing; Grandparents Steve and Jean Hokkanen of Bruce Crossing, Grandma Bev Johnson of Kenton; Aunt & Uncle Skye and David Johnson of Kenton; Aunt & Uncle Tawnya Hokkanen & Doug Nicholson  of Watersmeet; Uncle Troy Hokkanen of Bruce Crossing; many close cousins Tia, Rebecca, Ava, Rae Ann, and Albert; and many friends.

Austyn was preceded in death by Grandpa Edward (Bill) Johnson, Aunt Tracy (Hokkanen) Pete and Uncle Melvin Brunk.

A celebration of Austyn's life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel in Bruce Crossing, MI. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the start of the service, which is at 11:00am.
