Barbara S. Goard, 69, of Greenland passed away August 12, 2013 at her home.

She was born November 1, 1943 to Henry and Susan (Strader) Tracey in Detroit. On July 25, 1975 she married William "Billy" Goard.

Barbara was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. She also enjoyed puzzles, knitting, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family. She adored her three granddaughters.

Barbara is survived by her husband, William; children Pam (Brian) Green of Mass City, Karen (Dan Verbrigghe) of Rock, Sherrie (Steve) Lippens of Gladstone, and Tim (Julie) Goard of Mass City; granddaughters Chelsea, Mallory and Taylor; brother Danny (Kaye) Tracey; sisters Darlene (Bob) Tracey and Frances Jacoy; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Henry "Sonny" Tracey and sister Nancy Mansell.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 14 from 5-8 p.m. at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon. Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 15, also at the Cane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Barbara was loved by those who knew her and will be dearly missed by all.
