Bernard Walter Seid Sr. age 84, passed away February 18, 2017  in Ontonagon, MI   He was born March 08, 1932 to Gertrude (Walters) and Andrew Seid.  He graduated from Rockland High School class of 1950. He enlisted in the US Army.  He went on to work for the Ontonagon Telephone Company for 42 years until his retirement.   He enjoyed working in the woods, loved playing smear with his buddies.  He also loved making wood and living on the farm. He was a country boy at heart.  Bernard married Carol Foeller and they had four sons. He will be missed by all of us.

He is survived by his wife Carol (Foeller), three sons: Bruce (Deb), Jeff (Fran) of Ontonagon and Howard (Jackie) Seid of Rockland, MI  one brother:  Theodore (Juanita) of Rockland, one sister-in-law Lucy of AZ, three grandchildren: Andrew, Jennifer and Karlie also many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard's son Bernard Jr, brother's: Bob, Don and Larry.  Sister-in-laws Virginia, Marjorie, in-laws Sylvia and Ted Foeller, Donna Cleary Ross and Jerry Cleary.

There will be no services until next summer when  he will be buried at Riverside Cemetery with his son Bernard Jr.
