Beryl Takala 94 of Ontonagon passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital's Long Term Care Unit.

She was born in Houghton, MI on December 31, 1912, the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Hildebrant. Beryl graduated from the Mass High School in 1930. She lived in Rousseau and then in Greenland where she lived for 70 years

Beryl was a homemaker. She loved skiing and other outdoor activities. Beryl also loved to play bingo.

Beryl was preceded in death by her husbands Francis Trevarrow and Waino Takala, a son Herbert Trevarrow and brothers Wilfred and Clayton.

Surviving are her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and brother-in-law Marvin Takala.

Inurnment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
