Carl Lundquist 90 of Ontonagon, MI passed away February 25, 2008 at the Mellen Manor Nursing Home in Mellen, WI.

He was born October 8, 1917 in Mellen to the late John & Augusta Lundquist. Carl graduated from Mellen High School in 1935 and from the Wausau Business Institute in 1938. He served in the United States Army Air Corp. from 1942 to 1945. Carl was united in marriage to the late Lois Bushaw on August 12, 1942.

After leaving the military, Carl moved to Ontonagon, MI where he was employed by Leo Paren at Krohn Machinery. He kept books for many area businesses and also was the assistant controller at the Ontonagon Hospital. Carl was eventually employed full time with the Citizens State Bank of Ontonagon. He continued to work there into his 80's.

Carl is survived by his daughter Roberta Teer of Ontonagon, son David Lundquist of Mellen, 1 grandson Robert Teer, 3 granddaughters Jessica, Sarah and Lisa Lundquist and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Lois.

A memorial service was held Saturday March 1st at the Siloa Lutheran Church in Ontonagon. Friends may view Carl's obituary and leave condolences at canefuneralhome.com.
