Charlotte Charlene Laplant (Ojaniemi) passed away on July 23, 2021 at Aspirus hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Charlotte was born in Ontonagon to Larry and Gertrude Ojaniemi on February 28th, 1950. She went to local schools and went on to get her GED. She married Arthur James Laplant on September 3, 1965. She worked as a school bus driver/aid for the Gogebic-Ontonagon community head start for nearly 40 years. She always talked dearly about working with all those children. She loved the outdoors, working around her house, being social at the area casino and her beloved dog Bruttus.

Charlotte is survived by her sons and daughter. John, Joe, Jerry and Charlene. Sisters Christine, Cecelia, Carole, Colleen and sister in law Cyndy. Brothers Leon and Leroy. Grand child Tiffany, and numerous others including great grand children. Charlotte is proceeded in death by her husband Arthur James, Sisters Cindy, Corann and sister-in-law Connie, Brothers Larry Sr, Leland and Ludwig, Lesley and her son James Arthur Laplant.

Her wishes were to not have a funeral or memorial, so we are going to follow what she would have wanted. She will be missed by so so many. If you would like to send your regards send to 16230 amber lake rd, Bruce crossing, MI 49912.
