Charlotte Rita Malotte 94 of Ontonagon passed away peacefully January 4, 2007 at the Maple Manor Nursing Center in Ontonagon.

She was born January 31, 1912 in Detroit, MI to the late Frank & Anna (Biegau) Gromak.

Charlotte married Norman Malotte of Holly, MI on May 18, 1935. They made their home and raised their family in Holly. Charlotte was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and playing bingo. She was a member of the Holly Hollyhocks, Holly Moose Lodge and a lifetime member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Holly. In 1998 she moved to Ontonagon to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her son Robert (Joan) Malotte of Winter Garden, FL, daughter Charlotte A. Malotte of Ontonagon 2 grandchildren, Janet Sennett & Patti Moore, 5 Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant children, Norman, Jr., Rosemary and Patricia, brothers Casmer, Frank and Anthony Gromak and sisters Emily Palka and Ann Najduk.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Holy, MI.
