Clifford J. Daniels, age 89, passed away on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at Bayside Village in L'Anse.

He was born September 28, 1933 in Bruce Crossing, son of the late George and Alina (Neimi) Daniels. Clifford attended Trout Creek Schools, graduating from the Trout Creek High School with the class of 1951. He served in the Korean War, and upon his return, was employed in Bessemer at a sawmill, then Burroughs Business Equipment in Plymouth, MI and finally the Spectrum Automation Company in Livonia, MI for 30 years before retiring in 2006.

He was married to the former Shirley Ann Wayrynen in 1956. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2006.He returned to Ewen in 2007, following her passing.

Clifford was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to country music and watching westerns. He had a wonderful sense of humor as well as a heart of gold. He was generous and easy going.

He is survived by a son Mark (Sophia) Daniels; grandchildren Nathalie and Stephen all of Plymouth, MI and a daughter Michele (Alex) Daniels of Barrington, IL, along with many nieces and nephews

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and wife, his brothers Ralph, Edward and Roy, a half-brother Raymond Volaski, and sisters Evelyn Kangas and Olga Ogren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00am at his residence of 14197 North Baltimore Rd. in Bruce Crossing.
