Daniel E. Guilbault, 70, of Ontonagon, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Long Term Care.

Dan was born January 4, 1942 in Ontonagon, a son of Edmund "Duffy" and Florence Guilbault. He attended and graduated from Ontonagon Area School with the Class of 1960. Dan served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1966, with service in Vietnam. He worked for Standard Oil and Blake Oil for many years, delivering fuel oil throughout the Ontonagon area, retiring in 2004.

Dan is survived by six brothers: James (Judy) of Necedah, WI, Thomas (Carol) of Rochester Hills, MI, Gerald, Donald, David (Susan) of Ontonagon, and Michael (Ceilia) of Mountainsburg, AR; four sisters: Carol Blodgett of Kentwood, MI, Joan (John) Robinson of Davison, MI, Bonnie (Thomas) Burgess of Ontonagon, and Patricia Malaj of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by an aunt, Doris McDonald of Ontonagon, as well as nine nephews and ten nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, "Duffy" and Florence Guilbault.

A graveside service for Dan will take place Saturday, August 4 at 12 p.m. at Holy Family Cemetery in Ontonagon.
