Darlene Kathryn Jolliff, 74, of Rockland, MI passed away at home on July 6, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Darlene was born on November 18, 1947 in Ontonagon, MI to John J. and Shirley (Kaikko) Pattison. On February 19, 1966 she married the love of her life, Melvin D. Jolliff. They were married 51 wonderful years until his passing in 2017 and had two children, Staci and Kory.

She was employed for many years at the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital as the supervisor of the housekeeping department until moving to Las Vegas, NV. There they both worked at the Las Vegas Club Hotel and Casino until retirement and returning to MI in 2008.

She was preceded in death by Mel, her parents, and her sister Jan Pattison.

Darlene is survived by her children Staci Bengogullari of Rockland, MI and Kory (Beth) Jolliff of Mass City, MI, her grand children Jordan (Lane) Taylor, Sachil (Isaac) Bengogullari, Jakob Bengogullari, KJ Jolliff, Colin Jolliff, Jenna Jolliff, and Caleb Jolliff, and great grandchild Remi Taylor, brothers John and Patrick (Joan) Pattison, sisters Cheryl (David) Somero and Terry (Larry) Bagazine, brother-in-law Jack (Carrie Thompson) Jolliff, sister-in-law Kathleen Schermeister, life long dear friend Muriel Roberts as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, July 15. 2022 at the St Paul Lutheran Church in Mass City starting with visitation at 10:00am and funeral service at 11:00am, followed by internment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland.

A luncheon will be held for family and friends at the church following the burial.
