David "Monks" Thomas Aho, 53, of Greenland passed away on April 22, 2016 at Marquette General.

Monks was born in Ontonagon to Dennis and Dory Aho on July 24, 1962. He went to school in Mass City and Ontonagon. He worked as a mechanic for Pat's Motorsports  for 26 years.

Monks is survived by brother Danny, sister Deanne Hendrickson (Eric), brother Richard (Melissa), mother Dory, nieces Heather Johnson (Davin), Staci, Bailee, and Taryn, and nephews Tom Hendrickson, Mark Hendrickson, Dallas, and Matthew

Monks is preceded in death by father Dennis, grandparents Eli and Lil Aho, and grandparents Bill and Florence Rahkola

Visitation will be 12:00pm-2:00pm Wednesday, April 27 at Cane Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held following visitation at 2:00pm Wednesday, April 27 with Pastor Jay Welshonse of St. Paul's Lutheran officiating Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetary in Greenland. Arrangements are made by Cane Funeral Home.
