Deborah Jean Hoefferle 55 of Bruce Crossing, MI passed away at her home Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

She was born March 06, 1958 in Ontonagon, MI to the late Arthur & Marie (Cain) LaPlant. She attended school in Park Falls, WI. Deborah married Gerry Hoefferle in Park Falls on June 1, 1974.

She worked at the Mid America & Wells Fargo Banks in Park Falls. Later Deborah worked as a seamstress. Sewing and crafting were her passion. She loved volunteering and helping others. Deborah was a member of the Ottawa Lions Club in Bruce Crossing. She served as Treasurer and President.

Deborah is survived by her husband Gerry of Bruce Crossing, MI, son Mike of Phillips, WI, daughter Jennifer (Russell) Lasee of Phillips, WI, grandchildren Brit, Ivy, Jade, Meri, Tristan, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A private memorial service is planned in the Bruce Crossing area. A public memorial service will also be held in Phillips, WI. The Cane Funeral Home Bruce Crossing Chapel is assisting the family.
