Devin Michael Shamion, age 19, of Noble Road in Ontonagon, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in Ironwood. He was born November 12, 1990 in Ontonagon son of Michael and Rachel(Mariacher) Shamion.

Devin attended Ontonagon Schools and graduated from the Ontonagon High School with honors in 2008. He was tenth in his class and was awarded several scholarships. During the summers he was employed at the High school and at the Victoria cabins. Devin was attending Gogebic Community College where he was studying to be a medical technician. He enjoyed snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. He also enjoyed playstation.

He is survived by his parents; Michael Shamion of Ontonagon and Rachel(Glenn Perrow)Mariacher of Rockland. 4 sisters; Tracia, Delorian, Mercedes and Martha His girlfriend Jenna Gagnon. Paternal grandparents; Robert(Sharon) Shamion of Ontonagon. He is survived also by many cousins, aunts and uncles and extended family.

Devin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Patricia Mariacher. Devin was a special son, brother and grandson, he will be dearly missed by his friends and relatives and all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Rockland, Michigan on Monday November 8, 2010 at 11 AM(EST). Rev. Bruce Steinburg will officiate. Devin's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 AM until the time of service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Rockland.
