Donald G. Budd, Sr. of Kenton passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Bayside Village in L'Anse, MI.

He was born June 16, 1929 in Kenton, MI to the late Franklin & Florence (Trembley) Budd.  On September 28, 1956 Donald was united in marriage to Gladys Marie Bonin. He worked as a self-employed logger until his retirement. During his younger years, Donald enjoyed track while in high school. Later in life he loved hunting, fishing and trapping. Donald also enjoyed his vegetable garden and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gladys, a brother Franklin Budd and sister Madonna Budd Pinar.

Donald is survived by  his children Roger (Jo Ann) Silk, Michael (Dora) Silk, Donald (Sandie) Budd, Jr., Shirley Fowler, Florence (Kenneth) Perttula, Thomas (Tami) Budd & Richard (Stephanie) Budd, 7 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 17th at 5 p.m. at the Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
