Donald "Whiz" White 70 of Ontonagon died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

He was born January 30, 1938 in Laurium, MI son of Herman & Caroline (Hicks) White.

He was a 1955 graduate of Ontonagon High School and was employed at Smurfit-Stone Container for over 40 years, retiring in 2001.

He is survived by 4 sons Dan (Gwen) White of Palm Harbor, FL, David (Kay) White of Ontonagon, Darrin (Sue) White of DePere, WI, and Dale (Manual) White of Clovis, CA, 6 grandchildren Gena, Jordan, Taylor, Justin, Casie and Zachary, 1 great-grandchild Nadia, 2 brothers William (Donna) and Wayne (Sue), 1 sister Patricia Kosey all of Ontonagon and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sally.

At the deceased request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
