Donna Mae Bosio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 18, 2021. She was born in Rhinelander to Beatrice (Bouchonville) and Erwin Vergiels on February 10, 1945.

She married Melvin Bosio and they had four children, William, Eric, Linda and Sherry. She enjoyed many things in life including crafting, camping, her Detroit Tiger's baseball team, church, and mostly her pride and joy grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She enjoyed making and sending cards and trinkets to the residents of Long Term, her heart was selfless. She was a cook for many years at the Candlelight Inn as well as Wagar's Restaurant, both in Ontonagon.

Donna is survived by her children William Bosio of Whitehall, MI, Eric and Cassie Bosio, Linda Bosio and Sherry and Paul Spiess, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Bosio, her parents Irwin and Beatrice, sisters: Lavern, Virginia, Lori and Judy, brothers; Virgil, Vernon, Dave and Dale, and foster parents Norm and Rachel Kasten.

A Celebration of Life at the Ontonagon Township Park, where Donna spent camping with her husband, will be set at a later date in the summer.
