Doris Spolarich, 93, died peacefully in her home on January 22, 2022.

Doris was a graduate of Ontonagon Area High School and Green Bay Business College. After working at a bank in Green Bay, WI, she married her husband in October 1950. They built a home in Silver City, MI where they resided the rest of their lives. Her husband Jim and sister-in-law Betty (Tiny) Yaklovich were long-time owners of Paul's Supper Club, while Doris owned and operated Silver City Gifts for many years. Doris was an avid reader and took pleasure in testing her knowledge with crossword puzzles. In her later years, she enjoyed volunteering at the Ontonagon Historical Society, identifying wildflowers and antiquing with Jim, and spending time with her life-long friends in the area.

Doris is survived by her children James, Egg Harbor, WI; Jane (Marty) Williamson, Bothell, WA; and Judy (Todd) Kroll, Winnetka, IL; her grandchildren Denny, Katie, Tyler, and Collin; great grandchildren Cecelia, Gabriella, Claire and Quinn; and her niece and caregiver Kathy (Yaklovich) Garoutte.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James; her mother, Cecelia; and her father, Paul.

A Catholic mass will be held at St. Jude's Catholic Church in White Pine, MI on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00am with visitation from 10:00am - 11:00am.

A graveside burial will be held for Doris Marie Spolarich, who passed away on Jan 22, 2022, on Saturday May 7th at 11:00am at the Holy Family Cemetery in Ontonagon.
