Dustin Dean Hale, 29, passed away July 28, 2012 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Dustin was born June 16, 1983 in Hastings, MN. He grew up in Ontonagon where he also attended school and graduated with the Class of 2002. He worked for Inland Systems for 13 years and also attended CDL training.

Dustin's hobbies were playing his Xbox, the internet, golfing, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing with his nephews, Alex and Jacob Chobanian, and teasing his sister until she'd go nuts.

He is survived by parents John (Susan) Hale and Jill Havermans; sister Jessie Hale (Jimmy Chobanian); half-sister Tennille Hale; grandmothers Karen Austinson and Retha Rinehart; stepbrothers Jeremy Schulz and Ryan Havermans; stepsister Jessica Stitely; and aunts and uncles Monte (Carol) Austinson, Lisa Taylor, Jessie, Joe and Jim Hale, Dave LeGault and Carmelita Barlow. He is also survived by his two nephews, Alex James and Jacob John Chobanian.

Dustin was preceded in death by his grandfathers Dean Austinson and William Hale; stepfather Marco Havermans; aunt Jackie LeGault and uncle Bavil Hale.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Redeemer Free Lutheran Church from noon until 1 p.m., with services beginning at 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow at Stubb's Bar for anyone wishing to attend.

Dustin's family would like to thank everyone for all the support and prayers during this difficult time.
