Edward G. Jones (August 16, 1929 – January 26, 2016), a longtime resident of Ontonagon, MI passed away peacefully while in the care of Seasons of Life Hospice in Minocqua, WI. He was surrounded by family and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia P. Jones (nee Wagner). He is survived by his children Brian Tinsley (Laura), Nancy Soltis, Wendy Jones and Gus Jones (Lynn). He is further survived by five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
