Edward B. Koski, 91 of Ontonagon died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Maple Manor Nursing Center in Ontonagon.

Ed was born at the family farm on Firesteel Road in Ontonagon on April 11, 1915 son of Konstu & Marie Koski.

Earlier in his life, he and his wife Hilda operated a dairy farm. Later he worked at the White Pine Copper Mine, retiring in 1978.

Edward enjoyed writing poetry and telling jokes to his family and friends.

He is survived by his children Edward C. (Susan) Koski, Wayne (Suzanne) Koski and Carol (James) Munro, 6 grandchildren, Eddie, Mavis, Shawn, Cory, Kelli and Mark, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife Hilda, grandson Kevin Koski, sister Bertha Ahola and his parents.

A graveside service is planned for the spring at the Rousseau Cemetery.
