Florence B. Martin, 93, ofA Ontonagon, MI, passed away onA February 9, 2013,A at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital's Long Term Care Unit.

FlorenceA was born April 15, 1919 inA Greenland, MI daughter of James and Laura Truscott. SheA graduated fromA Greenland High School in 1937.

FlorenceA married Bennie Martin; making their home in Madison Heights, MI until retirement when they returned to Greenland, MI.

FlorenceA worked at SearsA forA many years in the Detroit area.A SheA enjoyedA traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. SheA was an active member of Greenland Methodist Church.

FlorenceA is survived byA her children: daughters, Barbara Martin and Beverly Clave, both of Ontonagon, MI; sons, Kenneth (Chris) Martin of Marquette, MI and Dennis (Jackie) Martin of Welch, MN; grandchildren, Michele (Paul) Smith, Jill (Guy) Mocaby, Cameron (Christa) Martin, Shannon (Robert) Handler, Stacie (Greg) Stone; great-grandchildren, Hannah Mocaby, Katri Smith and six step-great grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Schmaus and Evelyn DeHut; sister-in-law Doris Truscott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Florence is preceded in death byA her husband, Bennie; son, Joseph; sisters, Lucy and Laura; and brothers, Eugene, James and William.

A memorial service will be heldA in the spring to honor Florence's life.
