Florence Mukka, 106 of Bruce Crossing passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at Bayside Village Nursing Home in L'Anse, Michigan. She was born December 24, 1907 in Minnesota to the late George and Clara Skeesick.

On November 5, 1959, Florence was united in marriage to Albert Mukka. She worked as a cook at a resort near Boulder Junction, WI and later in life, enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking for her family.

Florence is survived by her sister Alice Stelzmiller of Gresham, OR; 2 nephews, Ken (Kay) and Steve (Nancy) Virt, both of Green Bay, WI; step-grandchildren Marie (Ted) Lovdahl of Effie, MN; Bill (Barb) Phillips of Circle Pines, MN, Dick (Sharon) Phillips of Princeton, MN, and Nancy Phillips of Anchorage, AK.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, nine brothers, four sisters, special foster son Leonard, brother-in-law Reino Mukka and sisters-in-law Laura Mukka and Aune (George) Virt.
