Florence L. Seller-O'Brien, 89, passed away at War Memorial Hospital Long Term Care in Sault St. Marie, MI on July 14, 2012.

She was born on December 12, 1922 in Merrill, WI to John and Anna (Gerbig) Hipke. She graduated from Merrill High School with the Class of 1940. Florence worked as a secretary for General Motors in Wisconsin, as well as for the Kinross Correctional Facility in Kincheloe. Florence loved reading her Bible and was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sault St. Marie. She married George L. Seller in November, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1974. In 1975, she married Francis O'Brien, who passed away in 1993.

Florence was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Walter G., Edward C., and Lawrence J.; three infant siblings: Morris, Roy and Margaret; her adopted son, Troy; and stepson, Patrick.

She is survived by nephews, Jeff and John Shriver; loving friends, Pat Paradiso, Don Dozel and Judy Walsh, and many other friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for Florence will be held Thursday, July 19 at 2 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Ontonagon. Friends may call from 1 - 2 p.m. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery following the Mass.
