Frank Yaklyvich, 93, passed away at his home on April 25, 2016

Born April 27, 1922 in White Pine, MI son of the late Anton and Johanna (Shibley) Yaklyvich.  He married Betty "Tiny" Spolarich on February 21, 1949 in Flint, MI

Frank attended high school in Ontonagon, MI.  He served in the Marines during World War II as a Corporal.  He was part of the 5th Marine Amphibian Division that landed on Iwo Jima.  Frank retired from White Pine Copper Range as a superintendent.

Frank is survived by his daughter Kathy Garoutte and son David (Brenda), six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and brothers Anton Jr, Johnny, Fritz and his sisters Mary, Grace and Rose.

Funeral services will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery on May 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
