Fredrick Byron Gregorich 79, of Greenland, peacefully passed away December 12, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Hancock, MI on April 3, 1942, son of Stanley and Eva (Rogers) Gregorich. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Irene Somero on January 27, 1962 in White Pine. Fredrick worked for the Jilbert Dairy Company and then the White Pine Copper Mine.

He is survived by his sons Gary, Randy and Ricky, brother Bernard (Christine) and sister Debra (Joseph) Laukka.

Fredrick was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, daughter Connie Mathis, his parents and his sister Bernadine Hakola.

Fredricks family appreciated the kind and loving care he received from his friend Malcom Penegor and nurses Hillary Stites and Sheryl (Pantti) Villalonga.

A funeral service will be held graveside on June 17, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland, with Father Michael Jacobus officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made in Fredricks honor to the Ontonagon Cancer Society.

Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
