Garry Dishaw, from Ontonagon, Michigan passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on Tuesday, January 8th, 2008.

Garry was born March 5th, 1939 in Trout Creek. He served in the Army for two years and then married Wanda McCarty on November 30th, 1959. He worked at the Ontonagon Papermill for 44 years.

Garry is survived by his wife, Wanda, and four children, Nina Matten (husband Mike), Gary (wife Mary), Todd (wife Lori), and Dede Dorenzo. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister Sandy Smith (husband John), two brothers, Randy (wife Kathy) and Larry (wife Karen), and numerous friends.

Garry lived his years in Ontonagon, enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casino, and spending quiet time with his friends and family. Garry Dishaw will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services were held at Episcopal Church of the Ascension on January 10th at 10:00 am. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
