Gertrude McGeshick of Watersmeet MI passed away peacefully in Minocqua on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, she was 83 years old.

She is survived by her children John "Bug" (Sally) McGeshick, David A. (Patti) McGeshick, Charles McGeshick III, Dale H. McGeshick, Louis (Tina) McGeshick, Sr., Gerald (Becky) McGeshick, Melissa J. McGeshick, Sheila McGeshick, Edward (Shelly) McGeshick, Howard McGeshick and Joleen McGeshick, 56 Grandchildren, 70 Great-Grandchildren & 3 Great-Great- Grandchildren, sisters Linda Williams, Lucy Williams and Joann Williams, brothers Thomas Williams, Lawrence (Jackie) Williams and Warren Williams.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband John Charles McGeshick, children Charles Williams, Pamela J. McGeshick, sisters Alice May and Mable Williams, brothers Tory Williams, Milan Robert (Bobby) Williams, Richard Williams, James Williams, Sr., Howard Williams, LeRoy Williams, Darrell Williams and Sheldon Williams.

The family is planning a visitation on February 25, 2023 at the Lac Vieux Desert Recreation Center in Watersmeet, MI, at 3:00pm, Central Time for immediate family and 5 p.m. Central Time for  the community, with the service to be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 10:00am, Central Time, also at the Lac Vieux Desert Recreation Center. Burial will take place at Williams Landing at the Old Indian Village.

Cane Funeral Home Bruce Crossing Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
