Hazel Mae (Crittenden) Yaklyvich, 74, of Silver City passed away December 13, 2010, at her home in Silver City.
Hazel was born June 11, 1936 in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Canada. She married Gerald Yaklyvich, and together they became the well-known proprietors of the Foothills Restaurant in Silver City for the past 30 years.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Lett and Selma Crittenden; and a brother, Barry Crittenden.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Gerald Yaklyvich of Silver City; brothers David, Philip, and Rusty Crittenden and sister Barbara (Bruce) Banks, all of Canada; step-daughters Delores Cowling of California and Brenda Brees of South Dakota; uncle and aunt, Alan and Doreen Binkley of Ontonagon; and cousins Sharon Shilman, Lori Koistinen and Mona Binkley, all of Ontonagon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Hazel will be remembered and missed by her family, many friends and former employees.
