James Dale Laingren gained his angel wings, he passed away on March 25, 2022 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital. He was 69 years old. James was born on December 2, 1952 in Ontonagon to Jalmer and Lillian (Putula) Laingren, graduated from Ontonagon High School in 1971.

In 1974 he married Terri Broemer Laingren, they had 2 children.

James worked for Jilbert's Dairy, White Pine Copper Co. and Stone Container.

James loved his family and spending time with them. His grandchildren Kylie (D Blocc), Hunter (Rachel), Lily (Mark), Siera, Katelynn (Mark), Dakota (Savannha), Isaac; great grandchildren Demetrius, Azari, Sophia and Harper were his pride & joy; and his Green Bay Packers.

James is survived by his wife of 47 years Terri, daughter Stacy (Matt Hall) Laingren of Midland, MI, son James (Jennifer Coffey) Laingren II of Ontonagon: 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren: brother Jalmer Laingren of Bergland, MI, sisters Mary (Raymond) Tahtinen of Canton, MA, Hilda Johnson of Ontonagon, nieces and nephews, Kim, Debra, Gary, Terri, Sherrie, Richard, Nicole, Danielle, Coty, Tony, Chelsea and Kaline.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jalmer & Lillian (Putula) Laingren, sister-in-law Sharon (Kalember) Laingren, brother-in-law Duane Broemer; Great Granddaughter Ka"Leah Lynette McGraw.

Per James request there will be no visitation or funeral.

Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
